First Blog Entry Ever

I am blogging because a coworker suggested I do so. By blogging, I am transferring my talking sessions into writing ones. Perhaps. I am sure there will be plenty of audible verbiage to follow, blog or no blog. I am a little nervous for putting my writing out in the open like this. But it is what people do. We expose ourselves, I suppose. I am exposing a part of myself. I feel, too, that blogs are a bit self-centered. As if someone else, a perfect stranger, is that interested in what my thoughts are. Even friends could grow weary of hearing me. Again, I am simply trying something new...following a suggestion.
